COVID-19 Weekly Brief - Week 11 - Virtual Meetings: Part 2
Available to: Everyone
Recorded 17th June 2020
Following on from our previous webinar looking at the legalities and guidance around virtual meetings, this week's webinar looks at meetings in practice, with local authority lawyer Rachel McKoy talking about her experience of virtual planning meetings, John Austin from ADSO sharing case studies from democratic services officers on council meetings in all their various guises, and Jane Moore from NALC looking at real life experiences within remote parish and town council meetings. The webinar will look at public access and engagement, councillor access and engagement, what works, what doesn't work, real life problems and resultant learning, and emerging issues around hybrid meetings. As ever, we will endeavour to answer all your questions on the practical applications of virtual meetings.
