Principal Solicitor (Criminal Litigation) - Three Rivers District Council
£34,530 - £58,535 (pro rata)
Part time - 20 hrs per week

Working within an ambitious council which is constantly innovating, you will play a key role within an organisation dedicated to advancing the economic growth of their area through investment and connectivity.
What we are looking for:-
We are looking for a highly motivated lawyer to join our supportive and successful in-house team to run their own caseload of varied criminal prosecutions.
Ideally you will have strong experience in regulatory law as it affects local authorities, dealing with such things as waste and the environment, food hygiene, anti-social behaviour and traveller encampments, as well as demonstrable litigation and advocacy experience.
You will have the opportunity of dealing with the licensing of local premises and taxis and acting as the Legal Adviser at licensing hearings. You will be motivated, enthusiastic and keen to provide a high standard of legal advice and support to the Council. Experience in Local Government is desirable.
