Job description

Role Purpose

You will be the lead lawyer for Enforcement and deal with some high profile and exciting cases reporting to the Head of Litigation. You will manage a small team of Lawyers that carry out significant amounts of advocacy and be responsible for the provision of high quality solution focussed services.

Key Responsibilities

You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of providing support across a range of local authority regulatory functions including but not limited to crime and anti-social behaviour, environmental health, trading standards licensing, and enforcement under the Housing Act 2004. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of managing a team and of dealing with senior officers and Members of the Council.


You must be a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or FILEX with significant PQE and hold a practicing certificate.
