On 17 October 2013, Philip Thomson attended the CILEX 50th Anniversary Celebration and met Noel Inge who is responsible at CILEX for promoting the legal apprenticeship scheme. Philip followed this up with a meeting on 13 December 2013 with Noel to discuss the scheme in more detail. The scheme is aimed at NEETS. This refers to adults under the age of 24 not in education, employment or training. The scheme provides a way for people classified as NEETS to enter into legal apprenticeships which to some extent are funded by the Government. Attached are documents providing more details about the scheme.
