Publish date: 16/07/2020

LLG is seeking your views on the LGA's Draft Code of Conduct and other lobbying opportunities and welcomes your response to the survey.

This survey has been designed by LLG to collate its membership's views in respect of the LGA's Draft Member Model Code of Conduct, the recommendations made by the Committee on Standards in Public Life's Review on Local Government Ethical Standards and LLG's Golden Triangle Campaign (the relationship between the CEO, the 151 Officer and Monitoring Officer) . The outcomes of this survey will be used to inform our formal consultation response to the LGA and identify lobbying opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the outcomes of the code and identify change for our profession. LLG thanks you for taking the time to complete this important survey.

If you are currently governed by the law pertaining to Wales, we would still like to hear your views.

Your responses will be kept anonymous. If you have any queries about the survey please contact membership@llg.org.uk. You can also provide direct feedback to our National Lead for Monitoring Officers and Governance, Helen Lynch,helen.lynch@durham.gov.uk by 31st July 2020.
