The way public services work is changing. Public service staff are under huge pressure to deliver more, with less resource, while the devolution agenda is putting even greater responsibility on individual areas and departments/organisations. Agile working and digital innovations can help public services work more collaboratively and smarter. The challenge is not technical, but cultural; it can be difficult to change the way people are used to working. The Guardian Public Leaders Network is hosting an interactive event to showcase some of the brightest and best approaches to make public services smarter and more collaborative, with industry leaders, workshops and good old fashioned networking. The Public Leaders Network is the Guardian's online section for leaders and professionals working across all public service, with more than 28,000 members from central and local government.
